OM Awards For Excellence Nominations

Operations Management is pleased to announce the nominees for its 7^th annual awards event, the Operations Management Awards for Excellence--the OMAEs. The awards recognize top-notch efforts in the industry. While we have traditionally maintained awards categories year over year, we have added a new, and possibly occasional, category for 2008. The Deal of the Year recognizes the largest and/or most significant of merger and acquisition activity. The last few years of M&A activity have been dynamic, but this past year was a blockbuster. Voting on the deserving winners of the awards will run through Sept. 26, 2008 and winners will be announced in October.
